Ray's Youth Pledge

Ray’s “Save Our Youth Pledge” (For Young Readers)

To the youth of our area who may visit this webpage, I ask you to please help me make our community and our Country a better and safer place to live, play and attend school by pledging to live by Ray’s 10 Point “Save Our Youth Pledge”.

You are the future of our Country and believe it or not, your life will change for the better after you take my Pledge and live up to it always.

It is easy to do and follow. Are you ready to Pledge? Here we go!

  1. I pledge I will never join a Gang or participate in Gang Violence.

  2. I pledge to lead a clean life by not using drugs or alcohol.

  3. I pledge to respect the wishes of my parents and school teachers.

  4. I pledge to stay in school, attend each day, always do my very best, study hard and not drop out of school, ever.

  5. I pledge to make graduating high school and going on to college two of my greatest goals in life.

  6. I pledge to turn to my parents, the Clergy or a wise senior family member for help and advice if I need to solve a problem I am facing.

  7. I pledge to live my life by always being honest, law abiding and respectful.

  8. I pledge to volunteer some time to help local community and faith based groups succeed in their quest to help our senior citizens and others less fortunate than I am.

  9. I pledge to fully read a few good books at the local library or at home, as often as I can.

  10. I pledge to make myself and everyone who knows me, proud that I am a unique and special person unlike anyone else in the entire world.

Good Job! Now print out the Pledge (if you can) and put it on your refrigerator or in your room at home so you can read it every once in a while to help you always remember that “You are the best”!

Well that’s about it for now, so please know that living by the pledge is all you have to do for you to be the biggest, most important part of our campaign to improve Florida and our Country’s future.

I am proud of you all.
